At Buffalo Creek Dental much of our strength lies in a strong commitment to teamwork. From the first phone call you will feel the energy. Our team is well-trained and passionate about all scopes of dentistry and patient care. As you read the bios, you will discover many of our team members have been with the office for a long time. As a result, you will find consistency in the philosophies of our dentists and the entire staff. We treat our patients the same way we would like to be treated, and we strive to improve everyone’s oral and overall health through comprehensive, preventive, and educational resources.

OUR DENTISTS
Dr. Stephanie Jennings Singleton
Dr. Singleton was born and raised in Waxahachie, Texas. After graduating from Waxahachie High School, she received her bachelors degree as Class of '96 from Texas A&M University and then her DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2000. Following a general practice residency at the VA Hospital in Dallas, Dr. Singleton opened her practice in Waxahachie, October 2001. Dr. Singleton loves being a dentist and feels
blessed to have a job she looks forward to every morning. She is proud to be living in Waxahachie, serving the community she will always call home.
Dr. Singleton is married to Mark, also a Waxahachie native. Together they have a son Meson and twin daughters Mallory and Shelby. They are an active family boating, hunting, skiing and traveling.
Dr. Brooke Loftis Elmore
Dr. Brooke Loftis Elmore was also born and raised in Waxahachie. After graduating from High School in ‘99, she attended the University of Oklahoma and completed her undergraduate degree in Zoology (BS) before heading to Dental School in San Antonio where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2007. She then completed a two-year General Practice Residency at the Medical College of Georgia where she learned the surgical aspects of dentistry. Dr. Elmore taught for a few years in Georgia before she married her husband, Kennon. They moved back to Texas in 2012 where she practiced in Temple for seven years. Dr. Elmore and Kennon are busy parents with four boys!! Loftis, Kennedy, and twins Calvin and Conner.
Dr. Elmore is elated to return to her hometown and provide dental care to a community she loves. She and her husband are ready to put their roots down in Waxahachie and raise their family here. As a general dentist providing oral surgery, implant dentistry and sedation, she brings a new element to our practice and looks forward to expanding services to our patients.
Dr. Elmore enjoys doing anything outdoors, traveling, cooking, cheering on Big 12 and SEC football, but most of all, she loves spending time with her family and friends.
Our Clinical team
Melinda, RDH
In 2017, our team was blessed to add Melinda's 30 years of dental hygiene experience. She loves what she does and it shows! Melinda is kind and truly cares about her patients.
Her interaction with patients is one of her best traits, as she partners with them in achieving better oral health. Her passion for putting others before herself will always be on full display while you’re in our treatment chair. "Sweet, southern charm" is our perfect description for Melinda.
Melinda and her husband Mark have one daughter and one granddaughter. Melinda enjoys travel, shopping, and good music.
At Buffalo Creek Dental, Melinda shines. Even when wearing scrubs, she adds "bling" to brighten the day!
Michelle, RDH
Michelle has been a hygienist on our team since June 2010.
On the BCDental Team, Michelle's strength is her unique ability to nurture and promote oral health. Michelle is always thinking ahead. Whenever she works with a patient, she focuses on how she can improve their dental health for years to come, plus she strives to build strong and lasting relationships at each appointment. Michelle always helps out where she is needed.
Michelle is married to her high school sweetheart Mikey, and they are busy raising two sweet sons and a daughter.
Michelle enjoys working out, hiking and exploring National Parks with her family. Michelle teaches swim lessons during the summer.
When she can, Michelle sneaks free-time for reading and gardening. You might ask her about growing loofahs?!?
Hannah, RDH
Hannah joined our team in 2017.
She is compassionate and always happy to help her team. Hannah's kindness is evident in her interactions with staff and patients. Hannah's ability to connect effortlessly with patients, ensures that each visit is not only productive but also enjoyable. She is passionate about creating long-term relationships with her patients, making sure they receive quality service and care.
Hannah is a local girl, native to Ennis Tx. Family and friends are very important to Hannah. She and her husband Seth, enjoy traveling, cycling and hiking.
She enjoys cooking alongside her husband and treasures spending time with their precious son.
Shelby, RDH
Shelby joined our BCD team in 2019.
She is full of energy and always smiling. Shelby is fantastic with our patients and very passionate about their oral health.
Her favorite part of working as a dental hygienist is the ability to get to know her patients personally. Getting to know each patient allows her to provide top-notch dental care and alleviate fears, talk about smile goals or to encourage proper oral hygiene. She said, It's rewarding to have a patient walk out of the office having had a wonderful experience.
Shelby resides in Waxahachie with her husband and two sweet sons.
We asked her where she got her name-
she said, like the Mustang GT and her Moms favorite movie, Steel Magnolia. Shelby enjoys staying active, spending time with family and country life.
Alisha, RDH
Alisha joined BCD in 2022. Alisha came to BCD with eleven years of dental experience. We enjoy having her on our team.
Alisha will tell you her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is being able to help her patients and educate them on oral health. Patient care and education fills her soul and nothing makes Alisha happier than to help our patients regain and maintain their oral health through improved dental hygiene.
Alisha was born and raised in Waxahachie.
Alisha has a bubbly personality and her smile lights up the room.
She and her husband have two daughters, which keeps them on the go. Alisha says, that's how she stays fit-Chasing her girls. When out of the office, Alisha loves going to sporting events, concerts and travel.
Andrea, RDA
Andrea has been in the dental field since 2013. She has a background in Orthodontics. Andrea always has a smile on her face, energetic and lends a helping hand to her team mates. Her favorite part of the job is helping patients in their times of need and making them feel more confident with a beautiful smile. Andrea enjoys being a part of the positive experience of your dental visit. She adores her coworkers and appreciates the high standard of care and personal attention we give to our patients. Andrea and her daughter enjoy baking, puzzles and watching movies together.
Andrea has a beautiful singing voice and often hums chairside. She loves musical theater and much to our surprise, can boot scoot boogie!

Lauran, RDA
Lauran joined BCD in 2022. Lauran has been a dental assistant since 2015.
We are happy to have Lauran at BCD. Lauran has an easy going personality, gentle spirit and a calming demeanor. She is a perfect fit for our team. When asked what her favorite aspect of her job is, she said it’s being part of the smile transformation process from beginning to end! Lauran likes the challenge of learning new dental procedures especially those related to dental surgery.
Lauran and her partner Andy have a set of twins in addition to her sweet son.
Fun fact: Lauran is the third person in the office to have twins!
Lauran loves to ride jet skis, outdoor activities and sandy beaches.
When Lauran is not at work - She enjoys kicking back and hanging out with her family and friends.
Heather, RDA
Heather has been Chair side to Dr. Singleton from the beginning. We think you will adore this Dynamic Sister Duo as much as we do. Heather enjoys dentistry and loves all aspects of it. Heather is great at comforting our patients and helping them to feel at ease.
Heather and her husband Judd, along with their two daughters and one son reside in Waxahachie. When she leaves from BCD her second job starts as, Mom's Taxi Service. She stays busy with all of her kids activities. She is constantly on the run watching her kids play volleyball, dance and chasing her toddler. Heather is active within her church and is always willing to be there for others. Heather enjoys being outdoors, football and people watching.
Morgan, RDA
Morgan externed at our office after she completed her training at Dental Assisting School. We were so impressed by her hard work, compassion and attention to detail that we hired her! Her goal is to treat every patient as family. Her commitment to making a positive impact on patients' lives is at the heart of her role.
Her ability to combine her technical skills with genuine empathy creates an environment where your oral health journey is not just about treatments, but about making your patient feel heard, treated with respect and comfortable.
Morgan lives in Waxahachie, has one darling daughter. She can DIY any project.
When Morgan is out of the office she enjoys golfing, reading and is a HUGE Kansas City Chiefs fan.
OUR BUSINESS SUPPORT
Connie-Patient Care Coordinator
Connie is the cheery voice you hear when you call our office. Connie has been with our practice since 2002. She enjoys developing relationships with patient families and has a natural ability to make everyone feel important and cared for. It brings her great joy to come into work every day knowing that she will positively impact someone’s dental health, by facilitating their dental treatment options in a calming and caring environment. She will make sure you are taken care of. Connie schedules for the drs. Her devotion to our patients is clear in everything she does, and her laugh is oh, so contagious and echoes throughout the office. We just adore her and know you will as well.
In her home life, her sweet kids keep her on the go thanks to school, sports, and social events. She strongly supports her son and daughter's hobbies and interests. Connie loves music, sunshine family and friends. Connie has a great personality and has never met a stranger!
Brooksie, RDA-Practice Relations Coordinator
Brooksie brought over 20 years of clinical dental experience when she joined our team in 2018. She said she was elated to join the BCD Team, the core philosophy of the practice encompasses everything she holds dear as a dental health professional. Brooksie also respects the amount of education and knowledge that the doctors have, and loves that the atmosphere encourages learning. She's the first friendly face you see when entering BCD. Brooksie will help you with office consents, updates or anything else you may need. She is a people person. Her positive, can-do attitude and friendly personality is refreshing. You will notice she is always fully engaged and loves helping others and making them feel comfortable and cared for.
In her free time she enjoys looking for eclectic funky finds at the thrift stores and is always on the hunt for good coffee and hot salsa! She loves hitting the open road and glamping in her retro styled trailer, Ivy Jane. Yes, she named her trailer. Ha!
She and her husband have two grown daughters, three precious grandchildren that they love spending time with.
Beth, RDA, CDA, Insurance Coordinator
In 2018, Buffalo Creek Dental was blessed to add Beth to our team. She has many years of experience in the dental field working both the business and clinical sides! She finds fulfillment in helping patients understand their financial and insurance concerns so that they can obtain their desired smile goals with ease and confidence. Her meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach mean that you can trust that your insurance-related concerns are in capable hands.
Beth's expertise and knowledge in the ever-changing field of dental insurance makes her a vital asset to our staff and patients. She is here to assist you by explaining your insurance benefits and claims processing. Her dedication and work ethic is surpassed only by her witty sense of humor!
Beth and her husband have one son. She enjoys reading, yoga and playing golf. But don't let these quiet hobbies fool you, Beth has a passion for fast cars too!
Lori - New Patient and Hygiene Coordinator
Lori joined Buffalo Creek Dental in 2019 with eighteen years of experience in the dental field! Lori was a chairside dental assistant in Arkansas for many years. Lori will schedule your new patient appointment or continuing care appointment with our Hygiene team. Lori will go over your treatment plan and make sure you understand everything recommended for you.
She has a laid-back personality, and you will find her to be easy-going and kind. We love having her on our team.
She is very involved serving at her church. Lori enjoys lounging lakeside and simply being outdoors. Lori enjoys cooking and especially baking. We enjoy those tasty baked goods as well. Ha
Lori admits she's a professional shopper, if there is sale or a bargain, she'll find it!
If shopping was a sport... Lori would come in first place! She and her husband have one son, one daughter and three adorable grandchildren.
